LGV Theory Training

Before you can undertake a practical LGV driving test, you must pass 2 seperate LGV theory tests.

You can prepare for the LGV Theory tests through self-study, or by attending a 1 day Theory Training Course, to prepare you for the Hazard Perception and Multiple Choice Tests. The course includes a presentation to introduce candidates to the basics of LGV’s, and an explanation of, and introduction to both tests, including practice at mock tests.

Candidates are welcome to borrow a book and/or CD-Rom’s, (on payment of a refundable deposit of £20.00 per item) to further practice in their own time, prior to taking the actual tests. Normally tests are scheduled for approx a week after attending the course, and take place at an authorised test centre.

These courses are organised on demand, please contact us to discuss availability.

Costs:

 Theory Training Course: £75.00 + Vat (£15) = £90
Hazard Perception Test: £11.00
Multiple Choice Test: £27.00

If you wish to arrange your own theory tests, these can be booked online, following the links from the DVSA website.  The costs are the same as above, we do not charge a booking fee.
